Who We Are
The Central Valley Diamond Foundation is a charitable nonprofit organization founded to help the youth of the Central Valley. CVDF works in partnership with both the Bakersfield (CA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Bridge Forward Technology.
Our mission is to strengthen youth engagement in the community and increase mentorship through structured programs that invest in youth development, educational opportunity, and civic engagement.
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the achievement of its members and the service they render to their communities. The Bakersfield Alumni Chapter channels that legacy through the Foundation, directing fraternal energy and donor resources into programs with measurable local impact.

Shop With a Kappa
Kappa members escort local youth on holiday shopping trips, providing gifts and meaningful mentorship during the holiday season.
Black & White ball
An annual scholarship ball that brings community leaders and supporters together to raise funds for Foundation programs.
Guide Right
A national youth development initiative that prepares young men for academic achievement, career success, and civic responsibility.
